I wanted to try explore what it means to be human, in a technologically advanced , ecologically uncertain world by capturing photons on light sensitive paper, mediating sunlight as if it were a material… working with uncertainty to represent an uncertain world. I would do this initially in two dimensions by creating a set of prints but will then explore this in other dimensions through modelling, projection and immersive world making which could be experienced in many different ways.
Cyanotype Process
In the next few post I will write about the early stages of exploring the Cyanotype techniques and then show some of the work I have produced so far.
