Practice-Based Research : Natural, Studio and Physical orientation and Navigation

I am conducting a series of simple experiments in the Unity Game Engine so as to explore the process of orientation and navigation as a form of ‘wayfinding’ in virtual, natural and studio spaces.
So far, I have discovered how to place the viewer within a virtual environment, lead the viewer by lighting and, taking natural forms as a starting point, experiment with different virtual architectures while considering how a participant might be led through the space.

This research will inform the development of a immersive practice-based research track. Accessed through the web browser (and google cardboard) as a Web XR project.
